Unraveled is a weekly music magazine made for one reader. Every Sunday it introduces three artists picked for your taste, with a short researched story about each, why they fit you, and two songs to start with. It works with Spotify and Apple Music, and your first full edition is free.

Tell it what you love
Pick a few artists you already love and answer a few quick questions about how you listen. You can also bring in your Spotify or Apple Music history, but you do not have to.

Unraveled describes your taste back to you in a sentence, so you can check it sounds like you and correct it if it does not.
STEP 3
Read your edition every Sunday
Each edition features three artists. For each one you get who they are, why they fit your taste, two songs to start with, and the sources behind the story. One pick is sometimes a little outside your usual.

Keep what you love
Play previews, open songs in Spotify or Apple Music, and save the artists you want to remember to your crate. Your reactions shape the next edition.

What is Unraveled?

How is Unraveled different from Spotify Discover Weekly?
Discover Weekly is a playlist of individual songs. Unraveled is an edition about artists: three picks a week, each with a researched story, a reason it fits your taste, and two places to start. It is built for getting to know an artist rather than skipping through tracks, and it works alongside whichever streaming service you already use.
Is Unraveled free?
Your first full edition is free, with no card needed. After that you can meet one artist free each week, or open all three with membership. Importing your listening history and seeing Your Story are always free.
Does Unraveled work with Apple Music?
Yes. Every song links to both Spotify and Apple Music, and you can import listening history from either service.
Do I need to connect my Spotify account?
No. You can start by choosing a few artists you love. Importing your Spotify or Apple Music history is optional and helps make later editions more personal.
When do new editions arrive?
A new edition arrives every Sunday at 5pm Eastern, in the app and by email.
What kind of artists does Unraveled recommend?
Artists picked for your taste who you probably have not spent time with yet. Some are emerging, some are established artists you missed. Each feature is written from cited public sources such as interviews, label pages and reviews.
