Yxngxr1’s Cardiff-rooted rise from SoundCloud to EMPIRE
A Buzz Magazine interview says he “started gaining on SoundCloud in early 2019” and later released the eight-track project I Don’t Suit Hats in March 2020. His releases on Apple Music include singles and albums across 2019 to 2023, showing a steady run of documented output. The interview also places his work in a personal frame, linking songs to relationships, childhood, and school memories. This short guide points to two releases that sit within that path and make a good starting place for a listener discovering him.
