Sam Evian: the story and songs to start with

Sam Evian’s songs move between home, travel, and return

Sam Evian is the project of Sam Owens, a songwriter and producer whose work spans New York, the Catskills, and North Carolina. The sources show him recording with friends, collaborators, and home-studio setups across multiple releases. Premium arrived in 2016, You, Forever in 2018, and Plunge in 2024. Across those records, the writing circles around motion, coming back, and family, while also keeping close to the feeling of everyday life on the road or at home. A good place to begin is with a song from You, Forever and another from Plunge, then follow how the albums connect personal reflection to movement and return.
