Rainy Mountain: the story and songs to start with

Meet Rainy Mountain.

Rainy Mountain is the solo project of Ryan van Hill, and the Bandcamp page describes The Overview Effect as his first solo double LP. The release is presented as an 18-track album, written and recorded by Ryan van Hill and engineered and mastered by Frankie Sunswept. The project also appears on Rainy Mountain’s Linktree, which points listeners to Bandcamp, streaming platforms, and official video pages. For a first encounter, start with the title track and then move to In the Room to hear how the album frames its ideas across the release.
