Palms Trax: the story and songs to start with

Meet Palms Trax.

Palms Trax, born Jay Donaldson, emerged through a run of releases that includes Equation, In Gold and To Paradise, and later began shaping his own label platform, CWPT. The supplied sources frame him as a Berlin-based DJ and producer whose career moved from early breakout records to more ambitious plans for releases, blog writing, and artist support. They also show a strong emphasis on collaboration and community, from his work with Nonku Phiri and Myd to his interest in giving younger artists a place to land. Across the excerpts, he presents music-making as something built through patience, taste, and steady work rather than gear alone.
