Old Sea Brigade: the story and songs to start with

Old Sea Brigade’s songs reflect change, collaboration, and life in motion

Old Sea Brigade is the project of Ben Cramer, a Nashville-via-Atlanta singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. The supplied sources describe his work as moving from singer-songwriter roots toward a fuller indie rock and indie folk sound, while keeping a focus on the space between major life changes. On Bandcamp, the project is presented as documenting “the ebbs and flows in our environment” and the growth that happens in the middle of milestones. Other source text says his lyrics capture anxiety, nostalgia, confusion, love, loss, and hope in true-life snapshots.
