Natalie Wildgoose builds folk songs from place, memory, and tape
Natalie Wildgoose is a North Yorkshire and London-based folk artist whose work is rooted in landscape, family history, and carefully chosen recording spaces. Her Bandcamp page describes Come Into The Garden as an EP of “ghostly art-songs” shaped by “voice, piano and guitar,” while a Yorkshire Post interview says she is “particularly inspired by that desolate nature on the moors.” She also connects her process to family and place, saying she inherited a tape machine from her grandad and that the music “feels the best form to write music in” for her voice.
