Mina Tindle: Paris pop shaped by collaboration
Mina Tindle is the recording name of Pauline de Lassus, a French singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Paris. Her debut EP came out on Sauvage Records, and her first album Taranta followed in March 2012 on Believe Recordings. Later releases include Parades, SISTER and Compass Rosa. The supplied sources also show a collaborative thread running through her work, with Bryce Dessner involved on multiple projects and Sufjan Stevens and Quatuor Zaïde credited on Compass Rosa. Interviews describe her writing across English and French, and her path moving between Paris, Brooklyn and recorded sessions that led into fuller releases.
