Kristin Daelyn’s intimate folk on Beyond the Break
Kristin Daelyn is a Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter and fingerstyle guitarist whose songs are described as delicate, contemplative, and rooted in folk. Beyond the Break, released by Orindal in 2025, gathers eight tracks and instrumentals that the sources frame around longing, renewal, solitude, and the natural world. The album credits say Daelyn wrote, performed, recorded, and produced the record, with additional production and mixing by Jason Cupp. The release also includes contributions from Dan Knishkowy, Danny Black, and Patrick Riley. Two good starting points are the lead single Patience Comes to the Bones and the title track Beyond the Break.
