KAVARI builds club music from horror, distortion, and reinvention

KAVARI, also known as Cam Winters, emerged from the Scottish underground and has moved through club music, noise, ambient ideas, and remix work. In interview, she says the name began when she was 13 and only became official around lockdown, when she started releasing music properly. Her releases draw on texture, broken sounds, and horror imagery, and she has linked her work to personal interests in film, games, and visual art.
