Meet Josh Fortenbery.
Josh Fortenbery is a Juneau-based songwriter whose page calls him a “self-absorbed but rarely self-serious songwriter based in Juneau, Alaska.” Another profile places him in local groups such as Muskeg Collective and Taking Care of Bluegrass. His debut album, No Such Thing as Forever, is described as “a neurotic reflection on isolation, misinformation, family, and death,” and the album notes say it was released March 8, 2024. The album page also frames the record as a set of 12 acoustic tracks that blend folk, country, and bluegrass.
