Jeffrey Silverstein makes patient, collaborative music from Portland

Jeffrey Silverstein is a Portland songwriter whose releases are framed around collaboration, patience, and a mix of folk, country, and ambient touches. The supplied sources place him on Bandcamp with a catalog that includes How On Earth, You Become The Mountain, Western Sky Music, and the newer Doggone announcement. He describes Western Sky Music as his first full-band album and says the record grew through work with other musicians in the studio. The same sources also connect his music to teaching, running, meditation, and a long-running confidence-building process as a solo artist. Start with two documented songs from the catalog and use them as entry points into his recorded work.
