James Bruner: the story and songs to start with

James Bruner brings a Springfield-to-Nashville rock story into The Otherside

James Bruner is a singer/songwriter from Springfield, Illinois who moved to Nashville after years of performing and writing. The supplied sources place his start in early singing, then guitar at 15, and a path that ran through school musicals and a frontman role before his solo work. His release The Otherside arrived in January 2026 as a five-track EP. The available documentation also points to his rock influences and to a performer who wants to front songs with guitar in hand.
