IAN SWEET: the story and songs to start with

Meet IAN SWEET.

IAN SWEET is Jilian Medford’s project, and the supplied sources show that identity changing across records while staying rooted in her voice. Show Me How You Disappear was made after an intensive outpatient program for anxiety and finds her writing through healing and unresolved trauma. SUCKER then shows Medford feeling more secure, more personal, and more willing to trust what she was making. On Shiverstruck, she describes a return to honesty and a clearer sense of self amid pressure, work, and major life changes. Across the releases, the focus stays on acceptance, confidence, and the work of making music that feels true.
