Hunter Metts follows a personal North Star
Hunter Metts is a Nashville-based songwriter whose path moved from coding to music. The supplied interview describes him as Tennessee-born, raised around musical parents, guitars, and a piano he learned on at home. It also places his early writing in self-teaching and late-night demo work before a fuller commitment to songwriting. By 2021, he had reached the final seven on American Idol and released his debut single The River. More recently, the source text says he signed to BMG Publishing in 2023, built a large streaming audience, and released work including Monochrome, Weathervane, and Abilene.
