Hrishikesh Hirway’s songs turn memory into collaboration

Hrishikesh Hirway is an American musician and podcaster whose work began under the name The One AM Radio in 1999. The supplied sources also place him across podcasts, film and TV scoring, and newer solo releases. In his own words, Song Exploder started when he “kind of hit writer’s block,” and he later said his newer songs are “pretty bare-faced” and “pretty directly” about the people closest to him. Taken together, the sources show an artist whose music keeps returning to personal memory, while also widening through collaboration on recent releases.
