Anna Ling’s Light gathers Devon folk, voice, and hopeful imagery into a debut album
Anna Ling is a Devon-based singer-songwriter who records alt-folk from her yurt by the River Dart. Her debut album Light was released on September 29, 2025, and the press notes say it has featured on BBC Radio 2’s The Folk Show and BBC Radio 3’s Night Tracks. The album also includes collaborations with boci, Briony Greenhill, Misha Mullov-Abbado, and Isis Wolf-Light. Across the release notes, light is treated as a central idea, and the songs are framed through natural and spiritual images.
